Stinville manages the turnkey implementation of an AI-powered MRI and mammogram at Carrión Hospital in Callao.

The modernization of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital in Callao took a momentous step with the recent addition of a 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner and a state-of-the-art mammogram with artificial intelligence (AI), technology that will significantly improve diagnostic capacity and specialized care for thousands of patients. Stinville played a key role in this advancement, leading the comprehensive turnkey project management, which included everything from identifying technical needs to the final delivery of fully operational equipment.

This implementation also included infrastructure adaptation, installation of medical equipment, and commissioning, ensuring a streamlined, safe process with the highest quality standards. The MRI scanner, installed for the first time at this emblematic facility in the city’s first port, will allow for accurate diagnoses of neurological, cardiovascular, and trauma-related diseases, among others. The AI-powered mammogram will optimize the early detection of breast cancer, speeding up analysis times and reducing the margin of human error.

With this delivery, Stinville reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the Peruvian healthcare system, providing advanced technological solutions and a strategic approach in complex environments. The successful execution of the project at Carrión Hospital represents a new milestone in its history as a key partner in the modernization of the country’s hospital infrastructure.
